I like to standardize the weapons look on my WW2 USN ships. Too many manufacturers make no attempt to make their weapons to scale or detailed. Shielded 40mm quads was a problem until I purchased Carl's product. Fits many gun tubs of other manufacturers models. The quad is easy to put together and nicely detailed. I standardized my USN WW2 collection on them.

These items are accurate, to scale, very finely detailed, and a snap to assemble and emplace. I've been using another manufacturer's quad 40mm mounts and they were much more fiddly and seemed to sit too high in the gun tubs. The 3D Modelparts units are much better.
